The educational mission of Bloomington Public Schools District 87 is to challenge, support, and inspire all students to learn and achieve their highest potential in order to become productive citizens and lifelong learners. Bloomington Public Schools offers a comprehensive special education program for eligible children between the ages of 3 and 21. District 87 provides special education services in the least restrictive environment in order for children to meet their academic, functional, and transition goals.
