Stevenson Elementary School Principal, Lynn Shook, has been named the winner of the Illinois Principal Association Elementary Principal of the Year for the Corn Belt Region. This prestigious award recognizes Mrs. Shook's outstanding leadership and her positive impact on students and the learning community.
Retired District 87 Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, Dr. Diane Wolf, describes Mrs. Shook as an exceptional principal who consistently demonstrates a deep commitment to nurturing the growth of her students. She inspires her staff to give their best, creating an environment where students are always the top priority.
Having served as principal at Stevenson Elementary since 2020 and previously as assistant principal at Bloomington Junior High School from 2013, Mrs. Shook brings a wealth of experience to her role. Reflecting on her achievement, Mrs. Shook expressed her gratitude for being named Elementary Principal of the Year for the Corn Belt Region.
