Boy's Basketball
There will be an open gym for boy's basketball this afternoon from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m at Bloomington High School.
Dance Team Open Gym
6th and 7th grade sutdents interested in trying out for the 2025-26 BJHS Dance Team will have the opportunity to attend an open gym today and April 29, 2025. Tryouts will be May 7-9, 2025.
Tryouts for 8th grade students interested in the BHS 2025-26 dance team will be held April 30th and May 1st.
You must be registered on 8:18 and have a current physical on file in order to participate in either session.
BJHS Cheer Tryouts for 2025-2026
Tryouts for BJHS Cheer Team will be April 23-25, 2025 from 4:15-6:16 p.m. in the west gym. You must leave school and come back for tryouts. Please see the fliers in the building for more information.

8th Grade Students Interested In BHS Cheer
If you are interested in trying out for the BHS Cheerleading Team for next school year, please check your email for more information and to get registered for tryouts! The first day of tryouts will be on Tuesday April 15th at BHS. We hope to see you all there - no experience required.
Girls Basketball Open Gym
Girl's basketball will have open gym on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, after school. Please meet Coach Ryan in the cafeteria immediately after school.
Boys Basketball Open Gym
Attention those interested in boys basketball; there will be open gym today from 3-5pm. Please meet in the cafeteria immediately after school.
Boys Baseball
There will be baseball open gym today at BHS from 6:30-8:00pm.
BHS Color Guard
The BHS Color Guard will begin holding audition clinics the week of April 28, and all 8th grade students are invited to try! In addition to performing with the Marching Raiders, the color guard is a class during the school day, and takes the place of your PE class. Pick up a yellow flyer from the BJHS band room for more information.

There will be a Scholastic Bowl practice today. Tomorrow, April 15, is the next match. Congratulations to the B Team as they remain undefeated. They beat Macomb 210 170.
Student Council
Student council will meet tomorrow, April 15, 2025, from 3:00-3:45 in IT2. Please be sure to make arrangements for a ride home afterward.
BJHS Cheerleading Open Gym
The next open gym for cheerleading will be Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. Students must go home and return to school since you will not be allowed to hang out in the building until that time.

Annual Shoe Giveaway!!
It's almost time! The annual shoe giveaway for GREAT attendance begins April 7th and goes through May 7th
You must have 95% attendance (1 absences) during that time and NO TARDIES!
You will be entered into a drawing and a winner of a $125 Finish Line gift card will be drawn so you can pick out your favorite shoes! One winner in 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade.

Contratualtions to the Scholastic Bowl Knights "A" and "B" teams for winning in Odell on Friday night! The "A" team came back strong from being triple down to end up winning 240-205. The "B" team won 165-120. The next meet is tomorrow night (2/25/25) at Bloomington Cornerstone Academy. There is also a meet Thursday (2/27/25) against Jacksonville Middle School.

Yearbook Sales
Thursday, February 13, 2025 is the final day to turn in yearbook orders. No late orders will be accepted. You can find the form on the BJHS website or stop by the Main Office to pick on up.

All orders must be turned in by Thursday, February 13, 2025.
· No late orders will be accepted.

· $16.00 per yearbook
· Payment is due when ordering your yearbook.
· Please make checks payable to BJHS. Return payment and the slip below to place your order.
Only a limited number of extra copies will be ordered. If you miss the deadline, extra copies will be sold on a first-come, first served basis at a cost of $20 (only one extra yearbook per student)
