Irving Mustangs want to know.....Cow was your day today ? Ours was great, we got a visit from Louise the dairy cow. Students enjoyed a milking demonstration and informational presentation about dairy cows, test your kids knowledge about what they reMOOmbered .

Mrs. Searby's 4th-grade class l was treated to a unique experience at the Book Cafe, where they indulged in a literary feast like no other! 🍽️📚 The students dined on books, which were served as different courses. 🍽️📖 They had the opportunity to sample various genres, and as they savored each book "course," they also recorded their thoughts and opinions on the genre. 📖🌍 "I'm hungry for knowledge!" I heard one student say between courses, Capturing the spirit of the Book Cafe perfectly! 🤩🍽️

Fifth grade Band, Chorus, and Orchestra is cancelled for Tuesday, August 21st. These students will start their day here at Irving at our regular start times.

Irving Art teacher Karen Brinker just got back from an awesome week-long intensive training by Art21 in the Big Apple! 🍎🗽 Karen and 16 other educators from around the world met in New York to start laying the foundation for building a new curriculum.
