Illinois Association of SkillsUSA, is a state association affiliated with National SkillsUSA, an organization serving high school and college and professional members who are enrolled in technical, skilled and service occupations, including health occupations. The Illinois Association was one of the founding states of the national organization in 1965. Illinois SkillsUSA has approximately 3500 members in over 125 chapters throughout the State.

Illinois SkillsUSA is divided into seven regions. Membership provides the opportunity to participate in region activities, state leadership conferences, use of professional development curriculum and competition in the state SkillsUSA Championships, which are based on technical standards set up by business and industry.
