🌟 A Warm Welcome to Diane Gunz who will be the newest first-grade teacher at Bent! This time last year, Diane was at ISU, shaping future educators as a teacher and supervisor of student teachers. Today, she's all set to re-enter the classroom and engage with some of our youngest Superstarsstars! Returning to D87, as an alumna herself, Diane brings with her not only her expertise but also her enthusiasm for the district’s supportive community—something she's heard praised by many D87 staff. Outside of the classroom, Diane loves traveling, performing in musical theater, and doing DIY projects. She is the proud mom of two college-aged boys, both D87 alumni, and will be welcoming a German foreign exchange student next year. Plus, there’s an adorable new Sheepadoodle puppy in the family, destined to be a comfort dog—we're sure our Bent Superstars will adore her!
