🎓 A Big D87 Welcome to Sophie Fitzgerald! 🎓 Sophie will be stepping into a 5th-grade teaching role at Stevenson for the upcoming school year. While she might not be a new face to the building, having student-taught 4th grade at Stevenson last year, she's now ready to bring her dedication and passion to her very own classroom—potentially reuniting with some of her former students! Sophie's path to teaching was paved by the influence her own teachers had on her, combined with her deep-seated passion for helping others. As a full-fledged member of the tiger family, she's looking forward to collaborating with her fellow 5th-grade educators and working in the warm and supportive environment that makes Stevenson special. In her free time, Sophie loves traveling to new places, trying out local coffee shops, enjoying time with loved ones, and enjoying time outdoors. We're excited to officially welcome Sophie to the team, and can't wait to see the impact she will make at Stevenson. Welcome aboard, Sophie! Your D87 family is thrilled to have you!
