D87 is excited to welcome Mandy White to Washington! Mandy is set to join the Washington Wolves as a 4th-grade teacher, bringing knowledge and experience from her recent role as an Instructional Assistant Professor at ISU in the Special Education and Teaching and Learning departments. Mandy is also no stranger to D87; she has previously taught 3rd grade at Stevenson and started her career at Blooming Grove Academy teaching 3rd and 4th grades. She loves the community and rich traditions at Washington and throughout D87 and says she truly feels like she's coming home!
Beyond her professional life, Mandy enjoys experimenting with new recipes featuring produce from her garden, indulging in family time — particularly with her nieces and great-nephew, devouring audiobooks, and unleashing her creativity through painting in her art studio.
