🎨 D87 and BJHS are thrilled to welcome our newest art teacher, Zachary Tod! 👏 A Bloomington/Normal native, Zachary is returning to the Midwest after spending 7 years in Southern California with his wife and 2 cats. The opening at BJHS inspired him to move back, and he is eager to bring his diverse experiences and passion for art to our D87 community!
This year, he’s excited to share his knowledge from working in the art world—including tattooing, film, and private studio teaching—to offer students a fresh and unique art experience. He plans on bringing all his art experience to the classroom, giving his students a brand new art experience unlike any other art class they’ve experienced. 🖌️
Fun facts about Mr. Tod: He’s worked as a tattoo artist, in film & TV, and even dabbled in stand-up comedy! 🎤 In his free time, he enjoys painting, graphic design, photography, tattooing, and of course, hanging out with his wife and 2 cats.
