Yesterday our first block Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement students had the privilege of welcoming some wonderful guests from the Bloomington Police Department. The officers dined with the students and discussed their work, student life, and police/community relations.
Due to the forecasted extreme cold temperatures, there will be no student attendance Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
To maintain the continuity of learning for our students, BACC will implement an e-learning day.
Winter Break might be over, but we're still flying high over here at BACC! Our Advanced CNA students recently took an opportunity to tour a local Life Flight facility and learn about the flying medical helicopters.

Our Construction Trades students took a field trip to tour our Local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers headquarters. Students were able to see learn about electrician apprenticeships and got their Superman on, bending some steel! Thank you IBEW 197 for having us!

The Solar, Wind, & EV Academy (SWEV) is an 11-week program for high school students to explore renewable energy careers, technologies, and skills. Through hands-on learning, field trips, and expert-led sessions, you'll dive into solar, wind, electric vehicles, and other clean energy systems.

The Automotive class recently went on a field trip to Rivian and were fortunate to meet two former BACC Automotive students who are currently working in the profession!
The BACC Culinary Arts Program will have their annual "Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice" bake sale on November 26,2024 from 8AM-1:30PM. Stop by and get your holiday favorites.
