Join us as we welcome Pamela Smith to our D87 and Irving family! Pamela will be joining the Mustangs as a paraprofessional in special education, working with 4th and 5th graders this year.

Pamela loves working with kids, she teaches toddlers at Sunday School at church and worked as a paraprofessional at Fairview. However, she is especially excited to join our D87 family because her three children attend D87 schools. She has a daughter who is a freshman at BHS, her son is in 7th grade at BJHS, and her littlest one, a daughter who is Pre-K at Sarah Raymond.

As she transitions to her role at Irving, Pamela is most excited about meeting new faces and nurturing relationships with our students and staff. Building community is at the heart of what we do, and Pamela is set to make a significant impact with her love of helping others!

In her free time, Pamela loves spending time with her family (her 3 kids and husband of 15 years). They recently took up gardening together and are looking forward to harvesting homegrown veggies this fall!

We're excited to see the contributions Pamela will make at Irving this school year. Welcome to the Mustang and D87 family Pamela! Here's to a year of new friendships, learning, and bountiful vegetable gardens!
